- Screw mounting points for permanent mounting to most surfaces
- Hook and loop strap provided for stock mounting
- Ergonomically designed dimming adjustment ranging from 0-100%.
Please note: This Halogen Dimmer is for use with Halogen lights only.
Step 1: Locate the input wires on your Halogen Dimmer; these wires can be identified by the “Input” label on the back of the housing.
Step 2: Identify the positive and negative cables for the input . These can be identified by the “- +” labelling on the back of the housing.
Step 3: Connect the input wires of your Halogen Dimmer Unit to a fused 12v power source. This connection can be made using a connector rated to a minimum of 12 amps (not supplied) or by soldering the joins. (Ensure positive and negative are connected correctly. Refer to Step 2).
Step 4: Locate the output wires to your Halogen Dimmer; these can be identified by the “Output” labelling on the back of the housing.
Step 5: Identify the positive and negative wires for the output, these can be identified by the “-+” labelling on the back of the housing.
Step 6: Connect the output wires of your Halogen Dimmer to a halogen light with a current draw not exceeding the maximum rating of 12 amps. This connection can be made using a connector rated to a minimum of 12 amps (not supplied) or by soldering the joins. (Ensure positive and negative are connected correctly. Refer to Step 5).
The Halogen Dimmer is capable of both switching ON/OFF and dimming your halogen light from zero to 100% output.
